Former British lawmaker Tory Imran Ahmad Khan jailed 18 months for boy’s sexual assault

LONDON-(MaraviPost)-Disgraced former British Member of Parliament (MP) Tory Imran Ahmad Khan was on Monday, May 23, 2022 jailed 18 months in prison for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy.

The former Wakefield MP was convicted of sexually assaulting the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, at Southwark Crown Court in April this year.

The court heard how he forced the teenager to drink gin and touched his feet and legs, coming within “a hair’s breadth” of his privates, as he went to sleep in a top bunk bed in 2008.

Jailing Khan at Southwark Crown Court on Monday afternoon, Justice Baker said the former MP had shown no remorse.

“The only regret you feel is towards yourself for having found yourself in the predicament you face as a result of your actions some 14 years ago,” he said
