Gangata drums up DPP Support in Lilongwe ahead of APM Presidential nomination papers submissions

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-A blue wave is sweeping across the Central Region, thanks to the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice-President for the Central Region, Alfred Gangata, who has been relentlessly drumming up support for the party as the countdown to the September 16 elections continues.

Gangata has reenergized the Central Region’s support for the DPP, restoring the party’s lost appeal.

Now, people in the region have fallen in love with the party once again.

The mighty DPP is back to rescue Malawians.

On Sunday, the youthful Gangata led a blue army of loyal DPP supporters to Mitundu in Lilongwe, where he successfully held a rally to drum up votes for Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika (APM) and the mighty DPP.

“We have all witnessed what this government is made of. All they know are lies, no development. Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is coming back to rescue Malawians from this undemocratic leadership,” said Gangata amid cheers from the crowd.

The songs and the excitement on people’s faces made it clear that their only hope lies in the DPP. Malawians lament the high cost of living, lack of security, and food shortages caused by the MCP’s poor leadership and governance.

Through Gangata’s efforts, the DPP has weakened the MCP’s control over the Central Region, as the blue party continues to regain its popularity in the area.

Under the leadership of Professor Mutharika, the DPP has promised to restore law and order, revive the ailing economy, and develop the country, which has stagnated for five years under MCP rule.

“It’s time we return to proven leadership. Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is energized and ready to rescue Malawians and develop this country,” Gangata added.

Gangata has since pledged to construct a fence for Mitundu Primary School following a plea from traditional leaders in the area.

This Friday, July 25, 2025 Gangata is expected to lead DPP supporters in accompanying Mutharika and the mighty DPP as they submit their nomination papers at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in the capital Lilongwe.
