Gumba warns against land use abuses

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost )-Minister of Lands, Deus Gumba has warned builders violating building regulations in the country that the government will enforce the law.

Gumba issued the warning on Thursday in Salima at a meeting of all District Commissioners(DCs) from across the country, where they were discussing land use and related cases.

The minister said citizens must have a plan for using their land, and avoid constructing structures that are not permitted.

On her part,Zomba DC, Reinghard Chavula, noted that the meeting would be helpful in addressing local land disputes.
