BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) running mate, Justice Dr. Jane Ansah, SC, has continued her vigorous campaign trail, taking the party’s message to the people as the September 16 elections draw closer.

After a fruitful whistle-stop tour in Thyolo yesterday, where she addressed enthusiastic crowds, Dr. Ansah has today shifted her focus to Mwanza District.

The campaign in Mwanza began with vibrant blue parades, a signature show of the DPP’s unity and strength.

Supporters lined the streets dressed in the party’s trademark blue regalia, waving flags and chanting slogans in support of the DPP presidential candidate, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.

Dr. Ansah’s message to the people has centred on the party’s commitment to restoring economic stability, creating jobs, and delivering infrastructure development across the country.

She has consistently emphasised that the DPP is ready to return to power and address the economic challenges Malawians are currently facing.

The Mwanza rally is expected to draw supporters from both urban and rural parts of the district, signalling the party’s determination to mobilise voters ahead of the polls.

Party officials believe that the momentum generated by these tours is crucial in consolidating support in key regions.

The DPP leadership has also stressed the importance of maintaining peace and unity during the campaign period.

With less than a month to the election, the party is leaving nothing to chance as it ramps up its presence across Malawi.
