Malawi Journalists accorded Airtel a Media darling award for partnering with the fraternity

LILONGWE, Malawi – 17 January 2015 (MaraviPost): Malawi Journalists from Lilongwe have accorded Airtel Malawi with an outstanding distinguished media award for the brand’s unending partnership with the country’s media fraternity.

The award was given during the inauguration of the Bwaila Media Club at Linde Motel in Mponela where the first ever elections for the club were held today (Saturday).

The newly elected executive team of the Capital City journos is led by MBC’s Peter Makawa.

Meanwhile, Airtel Malawi has dedicated the award to flood victims in Malawi.

Airtel Malawi becomes the second receptient of the award, the inaugural one was given to former Chinese Ambassoder to Malawi Lin Songtian.
