Malawi Police net a man for defiling four girls in a row

A 33 year old man is on remand at Kasungu Police station waiting for trial after allegedly defiled four young girls in a row.

Kasungu Police Station Spokesperson, Edward Kaunda confirmed the incident to The Maravi Post in an interview on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, saying the suspect identified as Mpembanji Chisale committed the crime on July 28, 2015.

 

Kaunda said the girls whose ages’ ranges from eight to 10 years old were defiled at the suspect’s house after enticing them with money. Chisale, a tenant a certain farm in the district is believed to have taken local beer called Kachasu at Kachere village who later enticed the four girls to have sex with him in exchange for money.

“After intoxicated with beer, the suspect took the girls to one of his houses then defiled them one after the other.

Later, the victims revealed the incident to their parents who quickly alerted the police with no hesitation, Chisale was arrested.

“The girls were taken to the hospital which confirmed of their defilement. Currently, the suspect is on remand after appeared in court on Monday, August 3, 2015 as he is answering four charges of defilement”, said Kaunda.

Chisale hails from Kachere village in the Traditional Authority (TA) Mwase, central district of Kasungu.
