Munyanyiwa who was representing Minister Barbara Rwodzi reiterated how traditional foods empower local communities economically. Commending the contestants for their impressive performance and congratulating the winners for their exceptional culinary skills, Dr. Munyanyiwa encouraged them to continue refining their skills and transform their culinary passion into successful formal businesses. An enriching cultural journey celebrating the vibrant flavors of Matabeleland South. The traditional cookout competition highlighted the culinary heritage of Umzingwane Community, blending diverse and rich flavors to showcase their gastronomic traditions.
