Vitumbiko Mumba, Minister of Labour, has made some scathing accusations against senior members of his party.

In a recent interview, with Leah Malekano of Zodiak Broadcasting Station, Mumba claimed that these senior members are practicing “politics of pull him down,” which he describes as archaic and barbaric.

Mumba, an engineer by profession, emphasized that he can’t engage in such politics.

He revealed that the senior members’ hatred towards him started in 2021, but he’s determined to fight on.

Mumba’s words of wisdom for those joining politics are: “Don’t expect ice cream. Expect thorns and find ways of dealing with those.”

Mumba’s accusations come at a time when political tensions are running high in the country.

His decision to speak out against party seniors is seen as a bold move, one that could have significant implications for his future in politics.

As Mumba navigates this challenging landscape, his commitment to not engaging in “archaic politics” remains steadfast.
