Old Mutual Malawi cement customers’ relationships through golf tourney

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Old Mutual Malawi has emphasised the need for customers to engage the firm frequently in a bid to cement the relationship.

In the just ended twin Executive Golf Tournament both in Lilongwe and Blantyre tee off brought together 96 golfers to foster meaningful interactions and showcase its commitment to serving customer interests.

The event, themed “Swinging into the Mutual Future,” provided a platform for stakeholders to engage in a relaxing environment while exploring the company’s lofferings.

Speaking after the tournament, Vera Zulu, Chief Financial Officer at Old Mutual Malawi, expressed satisfaction with the event’s outcome, highlighting the company’s dedication to contributing to the country’s economic growth through investments in key sectors such as agriculture, energy, and infrastructure.

Zulu emphasized Old Mutual’s role in helping Malawians achieve their short and long-term financial goals.

The tournament saw Khumbo Mkandawire emerge as the overall winner in the men’s category, taking home a trophy and a shopping voucher worth K1 million.

In the women’s category, Temwa Banda won a similar prize, praising the event for facilitating valuable interactions among customers.

Banda appreciated the opportunity to receive instant assistance on policies, showcasing the company’s commitment to customer support.

The Lilongwe tournament followed a similar event in Blantyre, demonstrating Old Mutual’s efforts to engage with customers across different regions.

Participants not only enjoyed the game but also learned about new policies, including the Mthunzi Funeral Policy. Patience Chatsika, Old Mutual Malawi Marketing and Corporate Affairs Executive, previously highlighted the significance of such events, stating that they provide a special opportunity to showcase the company’s brand and offerings to customers and potential customers.
