LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Corruption continue to manifest itself in the ousted regime of Peter Mutharika’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

Information which this publication has received indicate that the former Presidential Aide Bright Molande is demanding that Principal Secretary Joseph Mwandidya sign the multi million contract so that he is given K100Million as a thank you.

Molande has been demanding that the contract Reference Number 047/DoE/Marep/PHR FY2019/20/07 should be awarded to Ackon Group of Companies without following set down procedures.

Our investigation indicates that DPP wanted to raise money for the just passed court sanctioned campaign.

The information further indicate that PS Mwandidya refused to sign the illegal contract.

Mwandidya has proved to be one of no nosense PS in the just ousted regime.

He is the same PS who bursted the land gate where some dishonest civil servants at Ministry of Lands were operating parallel Lands Office.

The exercise was done by conniving with senior members of staff to produce fake title deeds in order to generate resources of funding DPP operations.

Mwandidya is also the one who bursted Crossroads land gate where the DPP cadets were sharing reserve land like no other business.

Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) is expected on Saturday, June 27, 2020 to announce a winner on fresh presidential polls that took place on June 23.

Dr Lazarus Chakwera along side Dr. Saulos Chilima of Tonse Alliance are in the lead with over 61% of unofficial results defeating Mutharika with Atupele Muluzi.
