PRETORIA-(MaraviPost)-South African entertainment has been hit with yet another tragedy following the death of two musicians, Mpura and Killer Kau on Monday, August 9.

The duo reportedly died in a horrific car accident on the way to an event which they were booked to perform to Rustenburg.

Mpura came up recently during the rise and takeover of the amapiano genre, having been part of great collabos that gave Mzansi hits such as Umsebenzi Wethu, TimesLive reported.

Killer Kau, real name Sakhile Hlatshwayo was discovered at the age of 19 on Twitter with the smash hit, Tholekuth hey. He was then invited to record the song by DJ Euphonik along with Killer’s co-star in the song, Mbali.

It was rumoured that Kabza De small who was with the two on the night before the tragedy was with the duo when the accident happened and he has passed away as well. However, the south African DJ and record producer has refuted the news after posting on social media that he was very well.

Tweeter has been flooded with messages of condolence and among several people who shared their tributes are Amapiano Mr JazziQ, Uncle Vinny, Lady Du and Rikhado Makhado, known professionally as Riky Rick .
