Sudan’s ousted ex-leader Omar al-Bashir moved to Merowe hospital, along with former officials

Sudan’s ousted ex-leader Omar al-Bashir has been moved from a prison north of Omdurman to Merowe hospital, which is located around 450 kilometres away from the capital Khartoum. His legal team requested the transfer due to medical reasons. Bashir is wanted by the ICC on charges including genocide.Source: Africanews
