According to reports in South African papers, two siblings have allegedly been kidnapped in Mpumalanga and trafficked to Malawi. The youngest is said to be 14 years old.
According to the same reports, It is believed a woman claiming to be a retired teacher, told the girls’ grandmother she would help them find jobs in the UK.
The woman apparently took them to Malawi instead of the UK as promised to the grandmother.
It is not clear how long they have been held, but both girls have allegedly been abused.
Interpol alerted South African authorities.
A team of police and government officials is heading to Malawi next week, and will hopefully bring the children home
