As we mark one year of victory over the fabricated BBC documentary targeting Prophet TB Joshua and the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), it is vital to reflect on lessons learned from stories like that of Ajoke. Her tale serves as both a warning and a call for discernment in extending kindness and trust.

Ajoke’s story began with an act of compassion. Abandoned as an infant on the premises of SCOAN, she was found by Prophet TB Joshua. Out of love, the Prophet reported the case to the police and, with their approval, adopted the child. Alongside his wife, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, Prophet TB Joshua welcomed Ajoke into their family, giving her the love, care, and opportunities her biological parents denied her.

Ajoke grew up in a nurturing environment, surrounded by care and guidance. Yet, as she matured, she began to drift from the values instilled in her. She engaged in rebellion, theft, and inappropriate relationships at a young age. Concerned for her future, Prophet TB Joshua corrected her in love, but Ajoke misinterpreted his guidance as oppression. This misunderstanding led her to voluntarily leave the SCOAN premises.

The Betrayal

Contrary to claims made in the BBC documentary, Ajoke was not forced out of SCOAN; she chose to leave. Yet, in a shocking twist, she became part of the conniver of falsehood against the man who had given her a second chance at life. The BBC documentary featured Ajoke making claims that were later debunked by video evidence released by the SCOAN.

Ajoke had falsely asserted that she was Prophet TB Joshua’s biological daughter, a claim that was proven untrue. Prophet TB Joshua had foreseen the potential for betrayal and had documented Ajoke’s rebellious actions and her adoption process. The evidence released by SCOAN included videos and police reports that verified Ajoke’s adoption and exposed her false accusations.

A Year of Vindication

As we celebrate the one-year victory of SCOAN over the BBC’s falsehoods, Ajoke’s story highlights the importance of discernment. Prophet TB Joshua’s foresight in documenting her actions and her adoption status protected his legacy and the truth. Despite her betrayal, the church emerged stronger, and her falsehoods were exposed.

Ajoke’s betrayal offers profound lessons about human nature, gratitude, and loyalty:

  1. Gratitude Is a Choice: Ajoke’s actions demonstrate the dangers of ingratitude. Despite being rescued and loved, she chose to repay kindness with betrayal, illustrating the unpredictability of human behavior.
  2. The Need for Discernment: Prophet TB Joshua’s meticulous records remind us to seek divine guidance in extending kindness. Not everyone who receives help will respond with gratitude.
  3. Loyalty Over Fame: In today’s world, temporary fame and financial gain often overshadow loyalty and values. Ajoke’s actions might bring her attention now, but her betrayal will not be forgotten.

Ajoke’s betrayal is part of a broader narrative of attacks on SCOAN and Prophet TB Joshua’s legacy. Yet, these challenges have only strengthened the church. The one-year anniversary of SCOAN’s victory over the BBC documentary is a celebration of resilience, truth, and unity under the leadership of Pastor Evelyn Joshua.

Ajoke’s story is a lesson for believers to be cautious in their acts of kindness, seek divine guidance, and always act with love and loyalty. As we celebrate SCOAN’s victory, let us remain steadfast in truth and pray that our good deeds are met with gratitude, not betrayal.

May the lessons of Ajoke’s betrayal remind us to stand firm in faith, choose discernment, and trust in God’s ultimate justice. Prophet TB Joshua’s legacy remains unshaken, a testament to the enduring power of love, forgiveness, and truth. Amen!
