BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-On Sunday this week the lady behind Akweni, a local and household title to lomwe language accordance Patricia Kaliati brought the wedding ceremony to standstill when she entered the wedding Hall at Victoria Gardens in Blantyre

As one of the invited guests , Kaliati arrived at the event in good afternoon hours but it seemed strange yet a happy moment to everyone in the hall as the usual mood grew unusual within the blink of an eye.

Dalitso Nseula the bridegroom to Linda Chinsiya defied the usual sequence of the wedding program when he rose from his chair and cheered Kaliati , stepping in front and walking towards her seat.

He picked her hand up in gesture of appreciation as the DJ interrupted and spiced the moment with loud music that was a minute later downed by the louder shouts of everyone in the hall.

They for minutes kept cheering , pronouncing Akweni’s name and the front seats were in no time crowded with no inch to walk through .

The people together with Hon Kaliati offered their bank notes as Dalitso and his Wife kept dancing and thanking everyone for timely presence.

Both the Director of Ceremony and the DJ went mute for some minutes, paving way for Kaliati and the people to interact and share the surprise moment .

Also at the event was legendary Mama Cecelia Kadzamira, another renowned woman in history of Malawi Politics whose happiness was read via the marks of joy in her face upon meeting Kaliati. The two had a historical and colorful interraction as the event program normalized.

This was the wedding unusual, the twickling lights that lightened all four corners upped in unison with the rest of decorated chairs , displaying the greater blessing that befell Dalitso and Linda on this day

Speaking on the function, the Director of ceremony expressed gratitude especially to Patricia Kaliati for honoring the invitation and her supportive heart to the weddings as well as other meaningful developments .

In the end, the echoing sounds of Jerusalema a latest South African song , manned the waves as traffic jam sealed and witnessed the departure of Mama Kadzamira , Patricia Kaliati and other senior figures of different parastatals .
