LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-In a demonstration of continued cooperation and support, China has pledged to expedite assistance to Malawi in the construction of a judicial complex.
Speaking to President Chakwera at Kamuzu Palace on Tuesday, during bilateral talks, China’s Assistant Minister of Commerce, Tang Wenhong, revealed that China is conducting a feasibility study for the project, affirming their commitment to expedite the process.
The judicial complex is deemed crucial for advancing the administration of justice in Malawi, reflecting both countries’ dedication to strengthening legal infrastructure.
China’s readiness to contribute to this endeavor stresses the depth of bilateral cooperation and mutual respect between Malawi and China.
The announcement comes amid President Lazarus Chakwera’s efforts to enhance judicial capacity and ensure equitable access to justice for all citizens.
