LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Prophet Justice Hara an associate of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) leader Prophet Shepherd Bushiri says the church is not scattered but strengthened over Major One’s current trial.
Prophet Hara told The Maravi Post in an exclusive interviews amid Bushiri’s prosecution by South Africa’s authorities.
Hara says what Prophet Bushiri is going through also Jesus Christ including apostles encountered the same.
“But the trial and prosecution will pass that God’s name will be praised. So, the church is not scattered but strengthened with Prophet Bushiri’s current situation.
“Surprisingly, ECG church membership is growing day by day despite our father being unfairly treated,” says Hara.
When asked as to why Bushiri is not willing to come back to Malawi amid South Africa’s authorities discontent with him, Hara says once the trial is over God will guide the ECG leader next course of action, “whether to stay in South Africa or move out”.
“If someone is being prosecuted does not mean your guilty, that’s why others are acquitted after the trial process. What ECG church wants to see is fair trial for our leader,” says Hara.
On why only Bushiri among other men is being prosecuted, Hara says Major One’s success and growth of the church are the reasons for the current situation.
“When your on top and success in life, one tends to attract good and bad things hence the current status of Prophet Bushiri, but our God in heaven is in full control of the situation,’ assures Hara.
Prophet Bushiri along side his wife Marry were arrested on October 20, 2020 for being accused of R102 million money laundering and fraud.
The couple has for three times denied bail that their attempt bail application hearing is scheduled on Friday, October 30, 2020 before Pretoria Magistrate Court.
