BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Ecobank Malawi on Friday January 31, 2020 conducted first draw of the Zayambika promotion which started on 18 December 2019.
Speaking during the draw in Blantyre Ecobank marketing,brands and communication manager Takondwa Chirwa said that the company came up with the promotion to kick starting the festive season and giving their customers a good entry into 2020.
Chirwa added that the bank took advantage of the promotion to promote its electronic payment solutions including mobile app, cards and prepaid cards.
To enter the promotion customers were required to open new account or to make transaction not less than MK20,000 for existing customers.
During the draw 2 luck people went away with Bursaries worthy 500,000 and 5 shopping vouchers worthy MK40,000 were given to 5 luck ones.
While 10 Ecobank umbrellas,10 Ecobank T/shirts and 10 Ecobank key holders were also given to the luck ones.
Final draw will be conducted on February 17, 2020 whereby main prize of MK3 million , second prize of MK1.5 million and MK500,000 bursary for two people will also be given out.
