LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The renown Sports Equipment Traders in the country INTOSPORT on Saturday, January 22, 2022 announced their partnership with Joseph Kamwendo Academy.

As per former Nyasa Big Bullets Board of Trustees General Secretary Jim Kaluwa who has initiated the deal, said the two parties have signed a one year performance based contract.

Among other things INTOSPORT will provide Sports equipment such as;Three sets of Jerseys, balls, beeps just to mention but a few. The trader will also be responsible for operational costs of the Academy.

“I can confirm that JK Academy and INTOSPORT have partnered for a one year contract, after my friend Joseph approached me to help in finding him sponsors for the Academy. I reached Mr Shabir Ismail, owner of the INTOSPORT, who agreed to help.

“The contract is performance based if they will do better during this one year period there is that possibility of renewal. After getting the ball rolling in November,2021, the Academy has been facing challenges hence this deal will minimize some of them”, Jim Kaluwa highlighted.

While confirming about the development Joseph Kamwendo who is the Director of the Academy described the deal as timely saying they have been struggling to run some of the operations since opening its doors last year November,2021.

Kamwendo therefore hailed INTOSPORT for the Sponsorship and appealed to more Companies and other stakeholders to come in and partner with the Academy saying in doing so his dream of producing more talents which can represent Malawi both locally and Internationally well will be achieved.

Joseph Kamwendo Academy was established in 2019 but due to global pandemic Covid-19 it failed to start its operations hence started on 26th November,2021.
