LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-One of the witnesses of Dr Lazarus Chakwera in the presidential elections case, Anthony Bendulo on Monday morning was taken by police for allegedly being found in possession of a gun around the court premises.
According to reports, the police detected an airgun in Bendulo’s car as he was entering the court premises and when they asked him, he said the gun was for his own security purposes.
The Police instantly whisked him away for further questioning.
However, the Police later released Bendulo without any charge.
