NAIROBI-(MaraviPost)-The Kenyan police have launched a manhunt for two people who escaped from a mandatory quarantine facility in Nyeri County.

According to County Commissioner Lyford Kibaara, the two had been quarantined at the after they were caught breaking curfew rules that government imposed on the citizens on the country.

In interview with Citizen Digital, Kibaara disclosed that the duo plucked the surface of the cubicle at Wambugu Farm center and made it out of the facility without being noticed.

The commissioner has however warned the escapees to take extra caution as they shall face the law once they are found. He has also asked anyone those who is aware of their location to come forward and hand them over to authorities.

Meanwhile, Kenya has 363 cases of the novel coronavirus and government established several isolation centers throughout the country as one precaution measure to curb the spread of the virus.
