Afghanistan’s Kabul suicide bombing claims three civilians dead, 15 injured

KABUL-(MaraviPost)-At least three people have been killed and dozen others wounded in suicide bomb attach in Kabul province near Afghanistan’s capital on Wednesday, 29 April 2020.

Ministry of Interior spokesman Tariq Arian confirmed about the incident in a statement.

According to Arian, the bomber detonated his explosives among civilians in Reshkhor area of Char Asiab district of Kabul on Wednesday morning in the Char Asiab district of Kabul province, about 11 km (7 miles) from the capital.

A report by Reuters revealed that it is unclear who is behind the attack as it has come at a time when Muslims are observing a holy month of Ramadan at the same time when the world is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and United States-led efforts for peace talks between the Taliban militia and the Afghan government.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan government has launched a thorough investigation into the bombing and spokesperson forTaliban insurgents disclosed that they are looking into the blast in Kabul.
