BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost )-A lecturer and researcher in Human Resources Management(HRM) at the University of Malawi (UNIMA), Bright Limani, has emphasized the importance of perfecting resumes and Curriculum Vitaes (CVs) for final-year economics students in the country.

Addressing students at an exit workshop organized by the Department of Economics in the Wadonda Conference Hall on Monday, Limani stressed that a well-crafted resume and CV can make all the difference in securing a job.

“Many students struggle to land jobs not because they lack skills, but due to poorly written resumes and unimpressive CVs.

“Employers should be able to gauge your capabilities at a glance.” said Limani.

He also provided valuable insights on how to tackle interview questions effectively.

One of the students, Precious Mtchona, expressed gratitude for the presentation, calling it an ‘eye-opener’.

The workshop was well-received, equipping students with essential tools to enhance their employability.
