Malawi Covid-19 cases rise to 65

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi has registered two new cases of coronavirus in the northern region of the country on Saturday May,16 2020

Minister of Health Jappie Mhango, confirmed that the new two cases of coronavirus are from Nkhatabay.

According to Mhango, the two (couple) recently traveled to Tanzania on a boat and have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

This means the country, has now registered a total of 65 confirmed Covid-19 cases since the first case was reported on April 2, 2020.

Out of the 65 cases, 24 have successfully recovered, 3 lost their lives and 38 are still under management by the health system.
