BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi Government has set up a trust fund to fast track Albino killings related cases.
Minister Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare Patricia Kaliati have said.
Kaliati was speaking at the interface meeting her ministry had with Federation of Disability Organizations in Malawi (FEDOMA)
The event took place in Blantyre on Thursday 30 July 2020.
She said currently they are about 169 people living with Albionolism cases still in courts accross the country.
Hence the settings up of trust fund to speed up those cases for justice to prevail.
Kaliati also stated that her ministry is having discussions with other government agencies.
to consider people with other forms of Disability when the Government start giving monthly allowance to the elderly in the country.
