BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The Living word Evangelist Church leader Prophet David F. Mbewe has asked Tonse government and well wishers to immediately come in to bail out the marginalized people from the effects of Covid 19 jeopardizing their well-being.
Prophet Mbewe uttered this through the open letter to Malawi government and well wishers to assist people including street kids, minbus Stewards that their lives get cushioned with social amenities such as food, business capital amid escalation of Covid-19.
In the letter made available to The Maravi Post, the prophet outlined to consider people affected by job cuts in companies working as casual labours and vendors who their business is in catastrophic state.
In his address, the man of God said streets kids rely on begging to earn their living and the Covid-19 scourge preventive measures like social distance hinder them to beg and other street kids are on ART,a healthy condition which require eating balanced diet food.
Prophet Mbewe who is the president of Freedom of worship Association Movement has also called for price reduction by way of subsidy and tax cuts on fuel and other basic groceries such as sugar, cooking oil,soap and among others.
On job opportunity, the prophet has also asked government to permanently recruit all government internees to boost their income base to assist their families during this trying moment.
