Malawi’s Minister of Health Jappie Mhango has disclosed that 10 more cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in the country.
The Minister disclosed this on Friday May 22.
According to Mhango, out of the ten confirmed cases, Mzuzu and Lilongwe National Reference Laboratory have recorded 1 patient each while the other eight have been recorded at Malawi Liverpool Welcome Trust Laboratory in Blantyre.
Mhango added that out of the eight that have tested positive in Blantyre, one is from Phalombe District and all those who came in contacts with those who have tested positive are being traced to be tested.
Out of the 82 cases of Covid-19 recorded, 27 recovered and 3 fatality with 52 active cases of the novel coronavirus.
