Malawi’s Diplomat, cleric Mwanamvekha dies in RSA

PRETORIA-(MaraviPost)-A career diplomat and cleric of the CCAP church, Reverend Lewis Mwanamvekha, passed on Thursday morning in a South African hospital at the age of 54.

Mwanamvekha was Malawi’s Deputy High Commissioner to Kenya.

James Chuma, a spokesman of the family, said a funeral programme will be announced in due course and when the remains will be repatriated back home.

Mwanamvekha, who hailed from Chiradzulu, leaves behind a wife and two children.
