Malawi’s R’N’B artist Joe Kellz to exhibit at youth christian work program

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)– Kelvin Jonathan Pangani popularly known as Joe Kellz, the Afro-soul or R’N’B artist will showcase his mysterious artistic work at a student leadership initiative program at St. John’s boys secondary school in Lilongwe on March 8, 2020.

Kellz is going to use his music to disseminate information to his fellow young ones.

“When I was in school, I experienced a lot of ups and downs, I made mistakes and learnt from them and now out school I call it I am at the industry. So from all my experiences I have stories and lessons to share to my fellow young people in schools.

“I am going to be doing music mostly at these conferences but the music will be in line with the purpose of the event and am going to tackle topics like; self awareness, leadership skills, entrepreneurship, and peer pressure,” Joe Kellz explained.

The event is aimed at motivating, educating, inspiring, and equipping Young Christian Work (YCW) in various schools as a way of team building which are vital industrial methods under Young Christian Student (YCS) themed: See, Judge and Act.

However, the initiative undertaken by Chilinde YCW will help youths from different schools to be aware and understand about life issues affecting them both socially and spiritual so that they should be able to respond positively.

According to Chilinde YCW Chairperson, Francis Belekanyama disclosed that the leadership initiative will help youths to become aware of their dignity.

“This will help youths to become aware of their dignity to take particular initiatives that will improve the quality of life for the young people and give them chances of building a future,” Francis said.

Francis also disclosed that they chose Joe Kellz to go and perform at the event because his well matured and understands things better.

“We chose Joe Kellz because he is an approachable person who understands things better and is one of those who does not get influenced with bad things, all we want is for him to inspire the youths,” Francis said.

The event will be spiced up with different entertainment activities such as Music, poetry, motivational talks which will be initiated by well trained personnel’s such as, Dalitso Nseula, Chris Tukula and Molly Nkosi.

Since the emerging of the Student Leadership Initiative Program in February 2019, the movement has managed to reach out to four schools in both secondary schools and colleges.
