BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Friends of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Northern Region Chapter on Saturday June 15,2024 donated various items to You Are Not Alone (YANA), a charity organisation which helps orphans, needy and children with disabilities in Mzuzu.

In his remarks, SCOAN Northern Region Chapter’s Chairperson, Aaron Phiri called on Malawians to remain united and steadfast in prayer following the tragic loss of Vice President Saulos Chilima and eight others.

Phiri said the demise of the vice president has affected many Malawians hence a need for unity in mourning him.

“But this should not bring chaos amongst the citizenry,” Phiri said.

On the donation, Phiri said the bible advises Christians to give to those in need besides putting them in prayer.

Overseer of YANA Care Homes, Nancy Phiri hailed the group for the gesture; saying they rely on external help to operate.

Yana looks after 50 children in two care homes.
