“We love you my man; we did not listen to your loud whisper. We thought we still had time, and unfortunately, we are now too late to intervene.” Tweeted Malema.

According to reports, the rapper and songwriter, whose real name is Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, allegedly suffered from severe depression and had been struggling for a long time before his death.

At 4.20 AM, less than four hours before his death, Rick posted on his Twitter account which others believe it was a hint to the tragedy.

“I’ll return a stronger man. This land is still my home,” Tweeted Rick.

According to Savanna report, Ricky was found by his management hanging on the tree at around 8.a.m in the morning of Wednesday February 23,2022 still alive. They hurriedly rushed him to the hospital where he succumbed to the injuries sustained minutes later.

His death comes barely a month after another renown personality in the entertainment industry, Patrick Shai, allegedly committed suicide in his home in Dobsonville, Soweto.
