PRETORIA-(MaraviPost)-During the proceedings of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church leader Prophet Sheppard Bushiri’s money laundering and fraud case on Monday, November 2, 2020, the cameras caught something rather shocking.
After a few minutes Bushiri was signaling with his lawyers using eyes to point at some papers, one of his lawyers was caught by the camera stealing some papers from the judge’s table.
The lawyer who took the papers immediately placed them inside her bag and Bushiri looked pleased about it.
But the question remains how can someone steal in a place where they are live videos being taken?
The people of South Africa were left stunned of this behaviour and people are starting to ask how a pastor or man of god would behave in such a way.
The judge has not said anything yet about the missing papers but people are calling for the judge to be shown that video and see what she makes of it.
this is indeed disappointing especially for Bushiri’s followers and this might even taint his image forever.
Prophet Bushiri with his wife Marry were arrested on October 20, 2020 for R102 million money laundering and fraud charges.
The couple has been denied bail for fifth times that the bail judgement is expected on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
