
Blantyre, June 9, 2016—Malawi’spremier mobile network and ICT operator, TNM is proud to announce that all is set to host golfers at Gymkhana in Zomba on June 11, 2016 under the auspices of TNM Business Services (TBS), the company’s division that offers broadband internet services.
The Gymkhana tournament comes few months after the mobile pioneer successfully sponsored the largest golf tournament in the country, Malawi Open, organized by the Golf Union of Malawi (GUoM) with sponsorship from TNM held in April at Lilongwe Golf Club.
TNM Chief Commercial Officer Daniel Makata said the Saturday’s tournament demonstrates the commitment in its quest to interact with the golfing community and customers in Zomba and surrounding areas.
“Saturday’s tournament in Zomba is one of the deliberate efforts by TNM aimed at interacting with our customers and overall improvement of golfing standards in Malawi. TNM appreciates the support it receives from customers and the golfing community on different products and services that it introduces on the market as such its feel great to interact with our clientele on the golf course,” said Makata.
He added that the tournament also provides the mobile network and Technology Company the platform to showcase to its stakeholders the affordable mobile technology and seamless connectivity it offers to businesses and individuals through its TNM Business Services (TBS)
“TNM is now set to be a total communications provider to companies, SMEs and individual users. Our recent addition of ISP business in TNM gives us the opportunity to leverage on our strengths as a mobile telecoms and internet network service operator offering high speed broadband, e-wimax and Wi-fi among other products,” he explained.
The tournament is being headlined by TNM’s Business Services (TBS) which offers a one stop shop communication solutions for corporates such Broadband, Business Managed Services (WAN/LAN, Web hosting, Email hosting) plus Business Hosted Services such as data center among others.
The Gymkhana tournament has attracted a field of over 70 golfers and it will be played on Individual Stableford format.
