Ugandan man kills wife, two children; bury them behind home

KAMPALA-(MaraviPost)-Uganda’s police has launched investigations into the death of a woman and her two children before who were allegedly murdered by the husband before burying the bodies behind their home.

The Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson, ASP Luke Oweisigire, confirmed the incident adding that the issue came to light after being tipped off by 16 old daughter of the suspect who was being taken care of by children’ home after being tortured by the father.

According to Daily Monitor, the daughter disclosed to a social worker at a children’s home that the father killed the mother, Mariam Muwanguzi Nabukenya, 33.

The surviving daughter indicated that her parents started having issues when the mother informed the suspect that she wanted to go and work abroad as a domestic worker.

He allegedly on a couple of occasions physically abused her for trying to leave him with all their children alone before the gruesome murder.

The suspect who has been identified ad Faisal Muwanguzi, a resident of Buloba-Bwotansimbi village asked his children to dig up a shallow grave in the backyard of their home that he used to bury the victims.

Upon following the issue, police revealed that they exhumed the body of an adult and 2 bodies of children who were they suspected might have been killed about five months ago and they were taken to Mulago National Referral Hospital for postmortem.

The suspect is currently on remand for child torture and after thorough investigations, he’s expected to answer murder charges.
