BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Imparting of business knowledge and skills among the youth say can help to avert problems emanated from social immoral behavior which later affect their future live hood.
The remarks were made by both managing director of Gramps Detergent chemicals Bob Katole and proprietor of Nachi’s Kitchen Angie Chigada respectively during a daylong exercise of training youth from Chilomoni Township in Blantyre chemicals production and sausage making complimenting Dzuka Chilomoni Organization ideologies of uplifting the life of vulnerable people.
Speaking after the training of sausage making, Angella Chugada said training girls in business management is a positive milestone set to empower the girl child financially hence making her refrain from dubious behavior.
“Firstly, l should pin point that, lam a patriotic Malawian besides like sharing as such felt it very vital to partake the knowledge and skills of business to the future generation. Additional to that upon learning that over 7000 young girls got pregnant in Mangochi just from January to June this year so l decided to get involved in rescuing would be vulnerable girls in my community as some of the factors which contributed to the scenario of this number of pregnant is lack of grooming a girl child income generating activities”, the business lady lamented .
Explaining on the participation of trainees during the exercise Bob Katole of Gramps Detergent said he was very much impressed with the curiosity to altitude of trainees on both theory and practical sessions.
“I like the positive mood of the learners during the entire session, however I should plead with well-wishers as well as the cooperate world to intervene and bankroll them with business capital so that they can set up business cooperatives,” Katole adds.
Speaking on the same, a trainee Tupochele Nkhata commended the organizers of the initiative, saying the exercise will help her to commence her own business of sausage production hence transform her daily live hood.
On his part, Dzuka chilomoni organization representative Paul Maliko Chikaonga said his organization has been always encouraged with the way how well wishers have been rendering their assorted support towards projects undertaken by the organization.
Through Dzuka Chilomoni organization Facebook page, the two entrepreneurs asked its membership to identify girls and boys coming from poor families within Chilomoni to undergo the two training running concurrently for free and on chemical production involved making of toilet cleaner, hair shampoo, dish wash cleaner, car wash shampoo while sausage production catered on Hungarian an beef sausage .
Recently, community based Dzuka chilomoni organization found in Chilomoni township in Blantyre renovated houses of elderly people, supported chronic people and motherly headed family with business capital and dispersing personal preventing equipment on Covid -19 to chilomoni citizenry.
