LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-One of the country’s entrepreneurship institutions Angeltec College on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 graduated first cohort of 45 in various vocation disciplines for self-reliant.
Angeltec College, School of Technical awarded young men and women graduates with certificates in Tailoring, Fabrication and Welding, Information Communication Technology (ICT), and diplomas in Human Resource Management, Computer Science and Cyber Security as well as Project Management.
Speaking after the graduation held at Bingu National Stadium (BNS) Auditorium in the capital Lilongwe, Angeltec College Principal Angel Msukwa said the institution wants to promote human capital development in the country.
Msuka observes that self-reliant is vital in human development.
Echoing the same, Angeltec College board Chairperson Francisco Makwinja urged youths to embrace entrepreneurship for livelihoods.
“Technical services much be embraced in young people for better livelihoods than always thinking of office jobs.
“Malawi’s Agenda 63 of wealth creation can’t be possible without entrepreneurship and Vocational programs. We want youth to create their own business empires”, urges Makwinja.
One of the graduates, in Tailoring and Designing, Priscilla Kamanga hopes for better after earning skills.
Kamanga assures of opening a big Tailoring shop for quality outfits.
Established in 2016, the college is also recognized internationally by the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM), a British professional body which is facilitating some courses at the college.
