BLANTYRE(MaraviPost)–Coach for Silver Strikers Stain Chirwa has wished Mighty Wanderers well as they are playing against their arch rivals Big Bullets at the Kamuzu Stadium today 20 september, 2014.
Speaking on ZBS Chirwa said he would love to see Wanderers collecting three points so that they can move up on the log table.
He said Nomads and Silver are friends in TNM Pasavute hence his support for the Rali Lubani Road boys in today’s Blantyre derby.
“I want Wanderers to win this game so that they can move up on the log table. Nomads and us (Silver) started the league with -6 and -9 points respectively so we need more victories.
“Sure, it’s my wish to see Wanderers collecting three points today,” said Chirwa.
However, Bullets mentor Elia Kananji expressed confidence of getting it right at the Kamuzu Stadium.
“Pressure is on them (Wanderers) because we have been beating them almost four times in a row. We beat them in Carlsberg cup and of-course in the first round of the league.
“I’m sure we will win this game and the players are ready,” said Kananji.
Bullets are coming from 2-all draw with Silver while Wanderers secured a 1-0 victory over Blue Eagles last weekend.
The derby is very important for Bullets who are dreaming of grabing the TNM league for the first time.
Meanwhile, Bullets, Blue Eagles and Moyale are tied at 37 points but BB trail on position three due to inferior goal difference.
The Nomads are on position 10 with 20 points.
Meanwhile, the match is underway at Kamuzu Stadium and Big Bullets is leading by I goal to nil.
