LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Northern Region Football League will now be called SIMSO/INNOBUILD LEAGUE after the two partnered to run the Sport in the region.
INNOBUILD has pumped in MK5 million to the current MK5 million Sponsorship by Bishop Abraham Simama of SIMSO.
This means the league is now pegged at MK10 million from MK5 million.
Northern Region Football Association unveiled the new partner on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the Mzuzu Innobuild offices.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the Regional Manager of Innobuild, Gift Nyasalu described the deal as an honor.
He said the duo have partnered with NRFA knowing how they work, and that is the reason prompted to jump into the deal again.
Nyasulu added the Sponsorship is an open ended hence will depend on how the committee is going to be running their affairs.
NRFA Chairman, Dr Lameck Zetu Khonje, was very excited with the partnership and said the Association will provide platform in which Innobuild will market their product to make it a win win deal.
“Innobuild is specialized in selling plots therefore as NRFA will provide platform where every Malawian will know more about their products.As committee we will run our affairs professionally to safeguard the Sponsorship. The league has now spread to Likoma Island”, says Khonje.
Twenty teams are expected to be drawn in four Clusters namely, A (Karonga and Chitipa) B (Rumphi,Mzimba North and Nkhata Bay) C (Mzuzu and Mzimba South) and D (Likoma Island).The league is slated to roll out on April 9,2022.
