LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President Lazarus Chakwera has appointed Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba as new Trade and Industry Minister effective, Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Mumba who was Labour Minister replace Sosten Gwengwe.
Gwengwe firing comes barely a day after irritated Lilongwe vendors demonstrated again unresolved goods and services prices rises.
Mumba has been a daring to many Malawians following his effective leadership at Ministry of Labour just three months after appointment.
