Chakwera’s first cabinet: Chilima on public reforms, Chikosa Silungwe as AG, Modecai Msika constitutional affairs minister

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Newly elected Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera on Monday, June 29, 2020 made the maiden cabinet amid Parliament budget seating under way in the capital Lilongwe.

Chakwera has therefore appointed his deputy Chilima as Minister of Economic Planning and Development and Public Reforms.

The learned lawyers Chikosa Silungwe and Modecai Msika are now Attorney General (AG) and Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs respectively.

The Finance Minister is now Felix Mlusu while Richard Chimwendo Banda occupies Homeland Security.
