1 Min Read

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Lilongwe Senior Resident Magistrate Court will on September 16, 2022 rule on whether or not to grant bail to Chinese national Lu Ke, popularly known as Susu.

In his recent court appearance before Senior Resident Magistrate James Mankhwazi, Susu made a second request for bail after he was rebuffed earlier soon after his arrest.

Chinese racist Lu Ke still in custody

The state insists that the nature of the charges levelled against him could put his life in danger if released from detention.

Susu is charged with five counts bordering on child trafficking and since his earlier bail denial, he has been at Maula Prison.
