LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Blue Eagles Reserve, who have just joined CRFA division one league, targets championship and earn promotion into the premier division next season.
Ackim Kazombo, Junior Eagles head coach said after his side whipped Mapokezi FC by 3-0 at home Nankhaka in MK15.3 million Standard Bank UNAYO Division Regional League.
Frank Phiri scored a brace at 36th minute and 69th minute while Dennis Nandolo sealed the victory at 79th minute.
Kazombo said his charges are equally ready to compete and win UNAYO league in their maiden season.
“We have just assembled the team but I have confidence we can do better, we are yet to jell yes but there are some positives from the game we have played today against Mapokezi”, he added.
Meanwhile Central region UNAYO Division One League week 3 produced 33 goals from 9 games with Amboya FC and Mtengenji game registering highest margin 6-2; a game that saw Adamu Rashid scoring 5 goals.

Games continued on Sunday 23rd May,Simlemba triumphed 3-0 over Mahephe,Amboya FC whipped Mtengenji 6-2,Zaithwa FC lost 1-2 at home against Santhe ADMARC at Mitundu ground,Blue Eagles Reserve won 3-0 against Mapokezi and Dzenza FC were defeated 1-2 at home by Nsaru United.
