LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-As the smoke shows that about 10 players may leave Civil Sporting Club during this off season, the General Secretary for the club Ronald Chiwaula has confirmed of four players who are officially leaving the club.

In an interview, Chiwaula revealed that the players who are automatically leaving the club are Muhammad Sulumba, Timothy Chitedze, Damiano Kunje, and Blessings Kameza.

He clarified that these players have their contracts and loan agreements expired while about Emmanuel Zoya, Idrissa Walesi, Hudson Milanzie, Ernest Kausire, Hastings Banda, and Walusungu Mpata cannot confirm now.

He said, “I need to have backing evidence as other players mentioned above are reported to have joined the military so I need to have communication from both sides to have a better stand on this matter.”

Reacting to the development Promise Thom a soccer analyst, feels many of these players who are exiting the club may not have any greater positive impact on the team this season.

However, he said, “Blessings Kameza is a good goalkeeper but due to lack of game time his performance had gone down last season. He could be a good backup goalkeeper Civil can keep.”

Civil’s last season ambitions were to at least win a cup and finish in top 4 in TNM Super League which they failed.
