Goal galore at Mchinji community ground: Chipiku League

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Goals showered at Mchinji Community ground in Chipiku Stores Premier division league game between Mchinji Boma Strikers FC and Airborne Rangers as 8 have been scored.

Home team Mchinji scored through Jack Toure a brace and Maxwell Matewere, Reymond Yawali a brace, Chimwemwe Mhone, Henry Mulaleya and Stephen Binauli were also on target for Airborne Rangers.

At the end of the match Airborne Rangers emerged victors by 5 goals to 3.

The losing coach Bright Manda said his charges was playing under pressure especially in the first half as they could not manage to attack well.

He added the team has just recruited new youthful players hence they are yet to build confidence to play in big league like Chipiku Premier division.

Manda later apologized to the home fans for a defeat.

His counterpart Christopher Kalira team Manager for Airborne Rangers said the goals they scored in the first half gave them confidence to work extra hard in the second half to add more and win the match.

He also said the team is aiming at returning back into TNM Superleague where they were relegated years a go.

Airborne have won all the three games they have played so far this season.

Green Rangers FC suffered a 2 nil home defeat to Support Battalion, Jussab Kaziputa and Happy Destone being the scorers.

At Chitowe Stadium in Nkhotakota Dwangwa United equalled power with Simbi FC from Mchinji and both scored a goal each,Mathews Hamuza on target for Dwangwa.

The host defender scored in his own net as he tried to clear Simbi FC ball at 89th minute.

while at Dimba ground Extreme FC were awarded three points and 2 goals on the table as Kasungu Police failed to show up.

Leo Mpulula’s Silver Strikers Reserve were 1 nil victors over St Gabriel Medicals in a game played at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe, Madalitso Maso scored at 3rd minute.

Wimbe United also suffered a three goals to two defeat at home against Ngolowindo FC.

Fontesi Shumba scored both goals for the home team while Alinafe Masina,Innocent Banda and Kennedy Yona scored for Ngolowindo.
