NAROK-(MaraviPost)-Son to Kenya’s nominated MP, David ole Sankok, has killed himself using his father’s pistol on Monday in Narok.
The Narok South Sub-County Deputy County Commissioner (DCC), Felix Kisalu, confirmed the news of the tragedy in a statement on Monday, May 2, 2022.
The Form Four student at Kericho High School, Memusi Sankok,15, killed himself after accessed the piston from a safe in his father’s bathroom when the father was away from home, Star reported.
What prompted the boy to take the action has not been established yet.
However, other reports indicated that the son and father have been having differences after the family expressed concerns over his academic performance.
The pistol used has since been seized by the officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for ballistic assessment.
Meanwhile, Police are investigating the motive of the incident and the body of the deceased has since been moved to Narok County Referral Hospital.
