BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-One of the top notch hip-hop gospel artist in the country ‘Gwamba’ has introduced an award initiative known as ‘Malawi Hip-hop awards’
Gwamba whose real name is Duncan Zgambo said the initiative has been introduced to promote and innovate young artists in the country.
In an interview with The Maravi post Gwamba confirmed the development and he revealed his plans of making the event an annual event
“My plan is to make this award event an annual event”, he said.
Gwamba disclosed that the initiative will be launched in November, 2020 after the Corona virus Pandemic is over.
Gwamba said there will be a fixed prize for the winner of each category chosen by the judges.
And as a hip-hop artist he will not participate for he said the initiative pa for the young artist
