Former presidential security aide Norman Chisale is expected to spend more days in the cooler as the judge who was supposed to preside over his bail application case has gone on leave.
Chisale was recently charged with the murder of Issa Njauju who until his death was Director of Corporate Services at the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
Lawyer for Chisale, Chancy Gondwe has told Capital FM that the matter was supposed to be heard before Justice Fiona Mwale, but considerations now are to have the case heard by another judge.
I know most people do not care that it is Chisale. Imagine If this was happening to you or your family. Justice is supposed to be blind. This is not a joke.just because it is someone we think is a villain does not make it right.
Justice is Blind: This expression means that justice is impartial and objective. There is an allusion here to the Greek statue for justice, wearing a blindfold so as not to treat friends differently from strangers, or rich people better than the poor ones.
People are presumed innocent until the courts say otherwise but in Malawi poor Chisale is already Guilty
