Led by Bushiri, Malawi Prophets raises K1.2 million for disaster relief; find out why Prophet Liabunya snubbed conference

LILONGWE (MaraviPost)—Malawi prophets have announced that they have raised about K1.2 Million to help Malawi flood victims, MaraviPost can reveal.

The money was raised during a first ever prophetic conference which took place on Friday at golden peacock hotel in Lilongwe.

The said K1.2 million kwacha is in form of pledges which the Prophets said will be raised from their members during their respective church services today (Sunday).

“We have agreed, all the prophets from south, central and north we will be moving on Tuesday going to help these people who are in needy” said Prophet Shepherd Bushiri in an interview.

”They don’t need much of what we will give them but they need our love, so what we are giving them is from our love.

Speaking during the conference, Bushiri who organized the conference kindly advised his fellow Prophets to be business oriented in order to support their respective prophetic ministries.

“First of all invest…, am saying this from my own experience,” said Bushiri while giving an example of himself saying he owns several companies including his diamond business.

“Let us have our own things in order to expand our ministries.”

“We are not growing, Prophets in Malawi our Ministries are not growing!” he said “That is not success, there are people out there we must reach them out, we have to gather millions in stadiums, we need to make some crusades but we cannot do it without finances,” said Bushiri.

Notable Prophets at the conference were Prophet Kambeja from Blantyre, Prophet Saboa from Mzuzu, Apostle Magawa from Mzimba, Prophet Bushiri and Prophet Hara.

Conspicuously missing at the function was controversial Prophet Austin Liabunya who did not disclose to Maravi Post the reason why he failed to attend the conference. But MaraviPost investigations indicate that he was fully booked on the material day by Malawi’s leading Television Station, Times TV, to give a no holds barred POINT BLANK interview with the Programmes presenter Bayana Chunga following a public demand to have the Prophet featured on this TV’s top Programme
