Malawian artists in Germany

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Two Malawian artists, Robert Magasa and Jack Musumba, on Monday departed for Hannover, Germany, to showcase their talents.

Their trip is part of a cultural exchange program where they will perform theatre and dance, and collaborate with German artists.

In an interview with journalists,Magasa, an actor and dancer who features in the Times Television drama series Mdyangu ngati Chuma, said he aims to represent Malawian talent while also learning from this experience.

On his part,Musumba who is also a playwright, explained that this opportunity arose through their group, Arts Sustainability Lab, and is facilitated by the city of Blantyre’s sister city relationship with Hannover.
