English 2020 MSCE exams paper leaked

Lilongwe-(MaraviPost)-The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has set January 05th through 29th, 2021 as dates for re-administration of Malawi School Certificate Education (MSCE) examinations.

A statement signed by Maneb acting executive director Professor Dorothy Nampota says preparation for the re-administration of the exams are on track with examination security to be jointly provided by the Malawi Defence Force (MDF) and the Malawi Police Service.

Ministry of Education wishes to remind all schools to continue adhering to COVID-19 preventive measures at all times as stipulated in the school reopening guidelines.

On November 4, 2020, the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB), in conjunction with the Ministry of Education cancelled the entire MSCE Examinations in a bid to preserve the credibility and integrity of national examinations in Malawi.

This decision was taken following evidence of massive leakage of many papers students were sitting for at the time.

Following the cancellation of the form four examinations, President Lazarus Chakwera, directed that MSCE examinations be re-administered not later than January 2021.
